We created this privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") in order to disclose our information collection and dissemination practices. Our site will never collect personal information about you except when knowingly provided by you (or as otherwise described below). The information that we collect is generally limited to the personal information that you provide as a part of your registration and/or when you make a purchase at or through the Website. The personal information that may be collected during registration includes, but is not limited to: 1) your email address, full name, date of birth, address and telephone number ("Personal Information"). You will also be asked to create a password to be used by you in order to access your account. In order to effectuate a purchase at or through the Website, we may also collect your credit card information. In cases where you supply us with Personal Information, you may receive a telephone call from us.

In addition, like most standard website servers, we use log files. Log files track anonymous user information including, but not limited to, Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider ("ISP"), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. This information is tracked in order to analyze trends, administer the Website, track users' movements in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. The information tracked via log files is not linked to personally identifiable information.

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. We use 'cookie' technology in a limited way to help deliver advertisements, to identify unique browsers that visit us and to track usage throughout our site. Credit card information supplied by you will only be utilized in order to effectuate your purchase(s) at the Website.

By submitting your information to the Website, you grant us the right to use that information (other than credit card-specific information) for marketing purposes, and agree to receive direct mail, SMS and email marketing messages from us and our third-party marketing partners. We may, from time to time, disclose the information that you provide to us to third parties in order to provide you with information about relevant products and services. To the extent that we collect your credit card-specific information, we will use the information only to process and complete any transaction that you request. Your credit card information will be encrypted and protected with SSL encryption software. In addition, by submitting your credit card information to us, you authorize us to periodically verify that your credit card account continues to be a valid and active one by charging, and thereafter immediately crediting, a small sum to the card. Such verification may be conducted through a third-party and, in that case, we would share your specific credit card information with this third-party for verification purposes. Apart from said uses, we will not share your credit card information with any third-parties (other than consumer credit agencies) without your prior informed consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to share with third-parties the fact that we have credit card information on file for specific users, but we will not share your specific credit card information with third-parties without your prior informed consent.

By submitting your e-mail address at the Website, you agree to receive e-mail marketing from us and our third-party advertisers. We may sell our user information and/or join together with other businesses to bring selected opportunities to our users. In addition, you agree that such act constitutes a purchase, an inquiry and/or an application for purposes of the Amended Telemarketing Sales Rule, 16 C.F.R. § 310, et seq. (the "ATSR"). Notwithstanding that your telephone number may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission's Do-Not-Call List, we retain the right to contact you via telemarketing in accordance with the provisions of the ATSR. The Learning Annex may be required to disclose personal information in some instances, such as: (1) when such release is required by law and/or where we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, and/or subpoena; (2) to enforce or apply terms of any of our member agreements; or (3) in the event that we believe that the Website is being, or has been, used in violation of our Terms and Conditions and/or to commit unlawful acts.

You may be introduced to a variety of third-party vendors and/or websites through the Website. The privacy policies of these third parties are not under our control and may differ from ours. The use of any information that you may provide to any third party, or the use of cookie technology by any third party, will be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the website that you are visiting. We may maintain separate email lists for different purposes. In order to end your email subscription to a particular list, you must follow the instructions for unsubscribing contained in any email correspondence that you receive from Learning Annex. Unsubscribing from one list will not automatically unsubscribe you from all email lists. Visitors under 18 years of age are not permitted to use and/or submit Personal Information at the Website and/or register for or make purchases at or through the Website. We do not knowingly solicit or collect information from individuals under the age of 18. We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate and monitor the interactive activities of their children.

All collected information is stored in a technically and physically secure environment. Access to this information is strictly limited, and the information is not accessible to the public. Our employees are dedicated to ensuring the security and privacy of all Learning Annex member information. When our purchase process asks users to enter sensitive information, such as credit card-specific information, and when we store and transmit such sensitive information, that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL encryption software. In addition, to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we use appropriate industry standard procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewall, encryption, token authentication, application proxies, monitoring technology, and adaptive analysis of network traffic, to track abuse of our network and its data.

We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a notice at the Website that we are changing The Learning Annex Privacy Policy. If the manner in which we use personally identifiable information changes, we will notify users by posting the changes on this Website. Any and all changes to our Privacy Policy are effective immediately upon posting.
